I wanted to echo the words of Matt in saying how lucky I have been to count Steve as one of my friends for so many years. Such a gentle soul and always a very loyal friend. Always a joke, Steve really had an unparalleled sense of humour and way with words. So many laughs over the years. I will miss that, mate, I will miss that a lot. So many wonderful memories at least - I will never forget you, mate x

I will always count myself lucky to have been friends with Steve for the past 28 years. I wish there were many more years to come, but I am so glad to have been close to him all of these years. My best friend, something that will never change.
